Saturday October 21st, 2012, Dr. Rosenberg gave encouraging words with his presentation describing the advancements with the University of Saskatchewan research in just the past year. Patient databases which include DNA information as well as the advancement of technology is speeding up the different research projects currently being done in Saskatoon. Dr. Rosenberg graciously accepted the research donation of $3,000.00 from Lupus SK.

At the Lupus SK Fall Symposium, October 1, 2011, Dr. Alan Rosenberg recently accepted our $2,500.00 donation, on behalf of the University of Saskatchewan Pediatric Rheumatic Disease Research Laboratory. This research offers exciting hope for the future because not only does it pertain to pediatric lupus patients, but in exploring how lupus first develops, a greater understanding of what causes lupus may be uncovered. A report with a more detailed summary of this research is available here.
